Sold to the cruel alpha

Sitting in front of the whole pack, my legs and hands were tied to the chair, as I await the final judgment they have for me. Will I be banished? Or I will be given a death sentence.

My heart were pounding against my chest too hard. It felt like it was growing bigger with each seconds that passed by. I might end up dying from heart attack before I hear their final vindict.

What was my crime?

I had killed a man.

Tyler Parish, is a monster! He likes to put in hands into little kids dresses and touch us inappropriately. And he made a mistake of doing that the night I had shifted into my wolf for the first time.

I didn’t actually have the intentions of killing him, but who would have thought that monster was just a weak feeble man. It was just self defense, I was protecting myself from him. But no one seems to believe me, I expected other victims of his to stand with me but everyone was silent and looked at me like I am a monster.

They locked me up and every day didn’t pass by without me getting beat up, starved and humiliated. Worst of it all his wife Mariam holds a high position in the pack, she had denied all accusations against her husband, she claims he is the most perfect man ever.

Which is far from the truth.

My foster parents wants nothing to do with me, they turned their back against me completely and joined everyone in criticizing me. Everyone had abandoned me. My fate lies completely on the judges in front of me.

“Scarlet White! One of the Judge started. His voice echoed with power and strength.

“Yes… yes. My voice cracked as I said responded in fear.

“The judges have decided. You will be demoted from the Gamma level to the Omega level.”

“What!” My heart dropped. Being an Omega in the Midnight pack means just two things— a slave to the pack, and a mere breeder. All my life I was bullied by the pack for not having a real mom and dad. I trained so hard to get to that level and now it’s all gone.

“Do you understand me? The judge shunned as tears started to pour from my eyes.

“Yes, yes sir.” I replied.

“You are supposed to be banished, as we do not have a place for killers in the Bloodmoon pack, you are 17 and going to be turning 18 soon, so you still fall under the minor laws. But that doesn’t mean you won’t be severely punished. You will be punished with 106 strokes of cain, in front of the whole crowd. The crowd cheered loudly as fear comes over my body.

“No.. no please.” Tears flowed down my cheeks as I bit my lips from screaming. One hundred and six strokes, I don’t think I can survive it. Mr. Tyler deserved what he got, he was a horrible man I expected everyone to pat me on my shoulders and call me a hero even though I didn’t mean to kill him. This isn’t what I had expected.

The guards untied my hands and legs and I was dragged to the front of the crowd, they layed to the floor as a middle aged woman walked to the front of me in her hands was a long thin cain. Her mouth curved up into a smile.

“Oh I am so going to enjoy this.” She grinned softly, she looked like a wicked witch. I felt helpless and powerless as the guards held my hands and legs to the ground. I closed my eyes as I prepared for the worst to come.

I heard a wheeze sound and the cain landed on my back and I screamed at the impact. The crowd screamed one! as they started counting.

“Please stop!” I begged as my back burns in pain, I wish I could ran away from here, far away from this pack and everyone but I couldn’t. With each stroke of cain landing on my back or my ass, I cried and pleaded but no one came to my rescue, the crowd seems to be enjoying this as they screamed in pleasure, pleasure at my pain.

After they were done with me, I couldn’t stand up, I fell to my knees. My whole body was on fire, I felt like hot boiling pins were being pressed slowly into every part of my body. My body felt like it was dying. And my wolf seem to be fine with it.

“The final verdict, the judge started again.

“Can they just kill me instead, I didn’t know what to do expect and I hated it. The highest binder takes her up as a slave, she will forever be a slave to your household, the price starts at hundred bronze coins.” The judge declared.

I couldn’t believe my ears, not only did I get demoted, and almost beaten to death, I am also going to get sold as a slave to any of this monsters sitted in the crowd.

The crowd was filled with whispers, as they looked at me like I was an object, a mere object to be sold to them.

“No one would buy that murderer! What if she kills me and my family. Someone said in the crowd.

“I won’t even buy her for fifty bronze coins!” Another voice said.

“It’s too risky. I can’t have a murderer under my roof.”The crowd murmured loudly to themselves, as I knelt in front of them, my chest felt heavy as I wondered what my fate would be if none of them buys me.

“I will!” A thick voice resounded in the crowd. I wondered who it was. More people began to whisper among themselves as he made his way to the front of the crowd.

“Alpha Devon! Someone said loud enough for me to hear.

“What! My eyes widened at his name. Can they just kill me instead. I can’t get sold to the cruelest man in the whole of the Bloodmoon pack.”

He stopped in front as everyone stared at him, as my eyes landed on him, I felt bile run up my throat. I couldn’t believe I was about to get sold the most fearful and cold hearted man in the Bloodmoon pack.

Alpha Devon is no lies the most handsome man in the entire pack, but he hated women, ladies flock around him like a pest but he pushes everyone away from him. He is known to be cruel, ruthless and merciless. What is my fate going to be like in his hands? I can’t imagine it. Please let it be anyone but him. I prayed silently.

“Alpha Devon., if you want her, you can have her. The judge said. My heart pounded against my chest, my hands were trembling as tears streamed down my face as I expected the worst.
