Chapter 1

-The Game Of Life-

Have you ever tried seeing life as a videogame? Well, I have, and it is a terrible one. Nothing about it ever made sense to me. It might look exhilarating being rendered in ∞ definition, and in ∞ frame per second. The graphics are sure glorifying. But it all comes down to the gameplay in the end. And as far as it goes, it's severely lacking, and full of glitches and holes that just forces me to drop it every time.

The game of life is never fair. It's only enjoyable if your playable character has good base stats from the get-go. But here's the problem; you never get to choose your character, and you can't switch or replace it. You only get to be stuck in that rut that's enforced on you without your consent; unless things get even worse, of course! But there are those who live on the sun-bright side of things and think "It's okay! Once we get older and be in charge, we'll do it all!" But what they don't know apparently, is that getting old is the main problem. It strips you out of whatever stats you had before, and replace it with an ugly hoard of dept that makes this corrupted game even worse.

Other players in this game are the best reflection of how terrible it could be. As you progress in the game of life, you'll see how is it daunting to associate yourself with other players. When I was young, it never took me a second thought to consider the kid next door anything less than a friend. But growing up, getting old, only clouds our perception by things that makes us selfish, and greedy, and overly afraid. And before you know it, you regret ever trying to have friends. So, you end up accepting that this game has always been a single-player experience all along.

To sum it up, life is just a horrendous single-player game. You're born alone. You're going to die alone. All your interpretation, memories, and experiences are only significant to you, alone. Everyone else is just a player with their own set of stats; so, that simply makes them your opponents. There're no such thing as a friendly bonds with no catch at the end of it. It's just a terrible, nonsensical game that I'm better off without.
