Zoey's Pov

"Hey Emma. I'm so sorry for calling you up, I know you must be busy with some work but I need your help." I said over the phone to my best friend and housemate, Emma.

It's my fiance Julian's birthday. I already brought him a cake, but i'm lost on what else to add to it. I'm not that good at buying gifts for males. Emma is an expert since she's been in a couple of relationships, while Julian is my first love and first date.

"Seriously, Zoey? You've been with Julian for two years now, and you still don't have any idea how to buy gifts for a male?" Emma said, making me roll my eyes.

I'm not ready for her lecture now. Yeah, me and Julian have been dating for close to two years now. And he just engaged me last month, but I am still terrible at buying gifts for males. Not to talk more about my fiance.

"Are you helping out or not?" I asked, and I could swear she rolled her eyes at me.

"Where are you now?" She asked.

"I'm in front of a mall, I just got out after buying the cake." I told her, waiting for her to say something.

"Okay. Go back, and get him some wrist watches. Wrap it up in a gift pack and give it to him." She said, but I feel odd about that.

"Just a wrist watch?" I asked, because it doesn't actually look cool just to give your man a wrist watch.

"Not any wrist watch, dummy." Emma said, more like scolding.

"Okay, thanks Emma. I owe you one."

"Whatever." She said and ended the call.

I placed the pack of cake at the back seat of my car, then shut it.

I made my way back to the mall. I plan on surprising Julian at his place this time, instead of planning a romantic dinner like his other birthdays.

Now it's 5pm. I need to rush, cause he might think I've forgotten his birthday. I wouldn't have been this late if I didn't have a couple of surgeries to handle before leaving the hospital.

Yeah, I am a medical doctor and surgeon.

I quickly grabbed the wrist watch that caught my eyes, though it's quite expensive. I gave it to the lady at the counter, and I also begged her to wrap it up in a gift pack. I had to pay a token for that.

After I was done, I made my way to my car in a hurry. I got in, and made my way to Julian's place. He'll be so surprised to see me.

My car came to a halt in front of Julian's gate. I don't plan on driving into the house because it would spoil my surprise. I came down from my car, grabbed the pack of gifts and the pack of cake. I locked my car, and carefully made my way to the gate.

I gave a knock, and the gatekeeper opened the gate. He smiled on seeing me.

"Good evening ma'am." He greeted me with a smile which I returned.

"Hey, Henry. How are you?" I asked as I made my way in.

"I'm okay, ma'am."

"Is your boss in?" I asked.

If he isn't in, I will have to decorate everywhere till he arrives. But if he is, I won't have to do that then. I'll just present the cake with a birthday song.

"He is in." He replied, and I mouthed an 'oh'.

I looked at the parking lot, I saw all his three cars there. So, yeah he's around.

"Okay, thank you." I said and made my way to the house.

Julian is a son of a wealthy man. Their company owes about a couple of companies around in other states. Making him a billionaire, if I could say.

I made my way into the house, and the house maid ran up to me.

"Hi Emily." I said, with a smile.

"Welcome ma'am." She greeted me, collecting the pack of cake from me.

"Be Careful with that, it's a cake. And please take it to the kitchen, and tell Ella to help me decorate it with candy candles." I instructed.

"Okay ma'am." She replied with a small smile.

"Where's your boss?" I asked, because I can't see him down here.

"I don't know ma'am. Maybe he's in his room." She replied.

"It's okay, I'll find him myself." I said, making my way upstairs.

The stairs are quite long. If I don't find Julian in his room, or in his study room. I'll have to search the whole of this huge house for him, I think I'll be outta breath by then.

I made my way through the hallway till I got to his room door. I smiled at myself, and the feelings that's bursting in my stomach. He will be so happy to see me. I turned the door knob and walked in, but I came to a halt on the scene in front of me.

A fully naked woman on bed, taking all of Julian's fully erected dick into her mouth.

I looked up to see Julian's tensed up face. Messy hair, and his naked chest with his duvet wrapped around his waist in his tight grip. I looked behind him, and I saw the naked lady on his bed. She wasn't looking tense at all, but seemed upset.

That means, it wasn't a dream. All of these are real! Julian cheated on me! He cheated on me!

"Baby I can explain everything." Julian's panicked voice ran through my thoughts, bringing me out of my trance.

"It's not what you think." He said, tensed.

I shoved him away from me, and ran out of that place. I don't know where I am running to, or where I should head to. All I know is that I want to get out of this suffocating place, as fast as I can.

"Zoey! Zoey!" I heard him yelling my name, but I didn't stop.

I ran till I was out of the house, and out of the gate. I rushed to my car and got in, I started the car with panicked hands. I tried to stabilize myself a little before driving off.

I kept my blurry eyes on the road, but my thoughts still drove back to everything I saw. Why would he cheat on me? Wasn't I good enough for him?

My phone rang, I looked down at it on my seat. It was Julian calling, I ignored it and focused my gaze back to the road. I don't know where to go now, but I need somewhere to cool my head. My phone rang a thousand times, but I ignored it and didn't care to see who the caller was.

I need to go somewhere to escape this feeling, this thought, everything! But where?

Think Zoey! Think!

Wait!

Club, somewhere I can drink and drink out my senses with it. It's a good idea, I pressed hard on my accelerator which increased my car speed.

"One more please.." I told the bartender at the counter.

This will be my eleventh drink I think, but I feel so drunk already. I have never thought I'd been sitting in a club house bar, drinking my senses away. But what do you expect when your heart has been shattered by your first love.

When Emma cried and starved herself when she broke up with her first love, I thought she had gone crazy. But now, being in her shoes. I can clearly

understand her pain, it hurts more than anything in the world.

"One more, please.." the young man beside me ordered the bartender.

That young man has been drinking more than me for the past hour, and he still wants more. I think he also had a heartbreak more than mine, that's why he's drinking way too much.

Maybe I should ask him?

"Hey!" I called out, but he didn't look my way.

I guess I didn't shout loud enough, plus the music was blowing off too.

"Hey mister!" I yelled, waving my hands to get his attention and it worked.

He looked at me, stepped down from his stool, he came to the stool beside me. I can see he isn't that drunk yet, just like me or better than me. Because, my visions are becoming blurry that I can't even make out his face.

How funny is that?

"Seems you are not in a good mood, that's why you are drinking your senses out!" I yelled because of the loud music playing at the dance floor.

"I could say the same for you!" He yelled back too, and I nodded to it.

I turned my gaze to my alcohol in front of me.

"Wanna talk about it?" He yelled.

Talk about it? I'm here to escape from it, so I don't wanna talk about it.

"Nah!" I yelled back, trying to make out the face of the young man through my blurry vision.

"Okay! But it's a heartbreak, right?" He yelled back.

He is a good guesser.

"Yeah, and yours?" I yelled back.

"Yeah." He said in a lower voice of sadness, but I managed to hear.

"Let's drink to heartbreak then!" I yelled, grabbing my glass of alcohol towards him.

I can't clearly see, but when I heard a glass hit mine. I knew it was him. I gulped down mine, and we ordered for a thousand more as we drank and laughed at our nonsense talk.

I feel my head spinning, I can't really make out what's happening around me. But at one point, someone dragged me to the dance floor. I knew I killed the dance floor, rocking myself on someone whom I swore went hard.

Trying to get myself under control which I think is second to impossible, my lips smashed with someone. I can't wrap my head around it, but I know I am being kissed so passionately by someone.

I don't know who is kissing this hard, but this kiss is setting my whole body ablaze. And I feel wet so suddenly. In a second the kiss stopped, which made me wonder why. I wanted more, but instead I felt someone grab my wrist and dragged me along.
